Biography

Mr. Guliang Zhang served as a Managing Director & Senior Partner at Leadyond Capital. Prior to joining Leadyond, he was a partner at Beijing Huaan Xinhe Investment Consulting Co., Ltd. and previously the general manager of Beijing Wefore Investment Consulting Co., Ltd., where he cooperated with investment firms such as Hony Capital as a consultant in many projects in machinery, medicine, retail and service industries. He is specialized in machinery and manufacturing industries. He used to be a senior management personnel of the Beijing office of Dapeng Securities Co., Ltd., where he was in charge of many investment banking business transactions, including deal restructuring, underwriting in rights issue and convertible bonds issue. He has 16 years of experience with the then China Ministry of Machinery Industry, where he was the former director of Policy and Regulation Office, being responsible for the restructuring, M&A and listing of state-owned companies in machinery industries. He is familiar with government policies and regulations and has profound networks with government departments, industry associations and intermediaries. He is a certified senior economist in China and obtained a Bachelor of Laws degree from East China University of Political Science and Law.
