Biography

Ms. Beatriz Beltranena served as Board Member at CFG Partners. Ms. Beatriz Beltranena served as General Counsel at Amzak Capital Management. On her capacity as the General Counsel she is in charge of the legal aspects of Amzak investments and internal affairs. She is based in El Salvador and has been with the group since 2005. Ms. Beatriz created, developed and structured the legal department of Amnet Telecommunications operation and subsidiaries in Central America previously owned by Amzak that was sold and divested in 2008 to Millicom-Tigo. Beatriz previously was a Senior Associate at the Consortium-Delgado & Cevallos law firm and manager of the Corporate Law Department of the Law Firm. Beatriz has experience in managing corporate international legal transactions such as securitizations, mergers and acquisitions, syndications of loans, bidding processes, mergers and acquisitions and bankruptcy process. She was General Counsel and Country Compliance Officer of Citibank's Branch in El Salvador from 1998-2005 and was a lawyer of the Legal Department of Citibank in the Guatemalan branch from 1996-1998. As a Country Compliance Officer at Citibank for 6 years she managed to apply United States regulations such a Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, Anti-Bribery and Money Laundering regulations in combinations to El Salvador's local regulations. Ms. Beatriz has a Degree in Legal and Social Sciences (Cum Laude) from Universidad Francisco Marroquin in Guatemala with the title of Lawyer and Notary Public and has a license to practice Law in El Salvador. Ms. Beltranena serves as Board Member at CFG Partners.
