Biography

Mr. Sverre Prytz serves as Executive Vice President, M&A Strategy at Orkla. He serves as Board Member at Because Animals. Mr. Sverre Prytz Founded and served as Managing Director at Green Marine Capital. In addition to initiating and building GMC, Sverre has also led BW's growth in the areas of Gas Solutions, Power (gas and renewables), and integrated LNG/LPG infrastructure projects, in conjunction with his corporate responsibilities at BW Group. Before joining BW, Sverre was the head of the operating group at ADM Capital, an Asia-based distressed debt hedge fund managing $2 billion in assets, where he spearheaded their due diligence and portfolio company performance improvement efforts. Sverre was a member of their Investment Committee and oversaw a number of new investments in Asia and Europe in addition to the existing portfolio of distressed assets. The 'special situations' worked on ranged from textile manufacturing in Indonesia, specialty glass manufacturing and wind farms in China, to distressed hotels in Turkey and frozen foods in the UK. All with the common theme of being severely distressed and in need of significant upgrades to both hard assets and soft skills to make the required turn-around.
