Biography

Ms. Susan Reedy served as Deputy Managing Director and General Counsel at Green Marine Capital. Susan brings 15 years of corporate experience to the team. Susan's background is as a lawyer where she has extensive experience representing clients within private equity including General Atlantic, LMS Capital, HFI Global, The Carlyle Group, and Sequoia Capital. Susan has advised on the formation and operation of private equity investment vehicles on a global scale. Some of her recent achievements include representing a multinational PE group in connection with a restructuring of their assets valued at US$4 billion. She has also represented an investment trust on the divestiture of assets valued at C$1 billion. She has been involved with acquisitions of distressed assets by PE firms in the context of workout transactions in the US and has represented lenders involved in PE deals across Europe. Susan was educated at the University of Victoria from which she graduated with a Juris Doctor. She holds an International Law Qualification from the University of Utrecht Law School, and a Bachelor of Arts with distinction, from the University of Victoria.
