Biography

Mr. Alvin Clay is the Founder and serves as Managing Partner at Alvin Clay Financial Advisors. Mr. Clay served as Consultant at Davidson Trust. He served as Chief Executive Officer and Principal at Davidson Trust. He has over thirty years of experience in the investment and accounting industries. Most recently, he was President & CEO of Pitcairn Financial Group. He had been with the Company since 1989 and served as President since 1993. Prior to joining Pitcairn, he was Senior Vice President at Butcher & Company and also spent six years with Ernst & Whinney, CPA. He served on the Villanova University College of Commerce & Finance adjunct faculty and is the author of a professional reference manual on partnership taxation published by the Research Institute of America. He is a frequent speaker on the taxation of investments and other matters affecting wealth management for individuals and trusts. He holds the professional designations of CPA and CFP. He is committed to numerous charitable endeavors and serves on various Boards and Committees throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
