Biography

Mr. John Tilney served as Partner at Everest Financial. He served as an Analyst at RS Investments. He holds a BS in economics from Tufts University and an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business. He is a CFA charterholder. He is an investment professional with more than 20 years of institutional investment management experience. He has followed all sectors throughout his career and has a unique background in structuring investments and combing quantitative and fundamental research. For the past 10 years he led the industrials and materials investments as an analyst for the Growth team at RS Investments (a Victory Capital Franchise) with $12B in AUM. He focused on finding growth companies that were disrupting old world industries. He was also head of business development at RS where he launched three new funds and built an investment "solutions" business. He developed a wide range of investment and risk management tools and quantitative models that drive investment decisions across the firm. Prior to joining RS Investments, he worked at Bodri Capital, a long/short hedge fund, as a generalist analyst. He covered all sectors and was responsible for both public and private investments. He worked for a venture capital firm prior to Bodri and began his career as an Investment Associate at Putnam Investments. He has a BS in Computer Science and Quantitative Economics from Tufts University and graduated Magna Cum Laude.
