Biography

Mr. James Takazawa served as Chief People Officer at Synctera. He served as Chief People Officer at Druva. He leads the Human Resources function at Ayasdi and is responsible for Ayasdi's commitment to recruiting, retaining, and developing the most talented employees. He brings to Ayasdi the expertise to drive strategic organizational growth and transformation at a global level while managing complex international operations and HR in an array of growth stages. Most recently, James was with Guavus where he effectively led the company through hyper-growth, international expansion, and numerous acquisition integrations; ultimately leading to the recognition of the Leading Light's Company of the Year. Previously, he similarly led global human resources at Tagged during their hyper-growth phase. James also held executive responsibility for HR business partnership, practices, and leadership in Hewlett-Packard's Finance organization where he spearheaded a transformation that led to its recognition as a best-in-class Finance organization. Prior to HP, James was with Deloitte Consulting where he worked closely with executives on maximizing the efficiency and effectiveness of the HR service delivery model and operation. He holds an M.B.A. from the University of Southern California and a B.A. in Economics from Occidental College.
