Biography

Mr. Patrick Koehl serves as Managing Director of Private Credit at Apogem Capital. Mr. Koehl served as Director of underwriting & Portfolio Management General Industries at Madison Capital Funding. Mr. Koehl served as Director, of the East U.S. Region at NXT Capital. He co-heads the underwriting and portfolio risk management team for NXT's East coast-based Sponsor team, where he focuses on structuring, underwriting, negotiating, and managing investments for the firm. In addition, Mr. Koehl is the Group Senior Credit Officer in charge of NXT's venture finance investment portfolio, where he focuses on managing growth capital solutions provided to venture-backed emerging growth companies. He brings over 18 years of leverage finance experience to NXT Capital, including 12 years executing and managing leverage finance transactions for middle market private equity sponsors while at GE Antares Capital and Merrill Lynch Capital. Prior to Merrill Lynch Capital, Mr. Koehl was a Director in KPMG's transaction services group where he worked completing financial due diligence for private equity transactions. He began his career in the audit practices for KPMG and Arthur Andersen. Mr. Koehl earned a B.S. in Accounting with Honors from St. Francis University.
