Biography

Mr. Scott Dorey serves as Attorney at Britton Hill Partners. He serves as Chairman and Co-Chief Executive Officer of BHP International Markets Ltd. Mr. Dorey oversees his own family office that co invests with BHP and its partners on various transactions. Mr. Dorey was formerly with Lehman Brothers in New York and London. His career with Lehman included roles both in mergers and acquisitions and principal transactions on behalf of Lehman clients, Lehman and with some its most important sales and trading relationships. While at Lehman, Mr. Dorey was a Senior Advisor in the Office of the Chairman/Vice Chairman and member of its New Products and Risk Committees and the New York Federal Reserve Counterparty Risk Management Policy Group. He started at Lehman as an Investment Banker in Lehman's Global Mergers and Acquisitions Group based in London and New York focused on advising telecom and media companies. Before joining Lehman, Mr. Dorey was a Corporate Lawyer at Paul Weiss Rifkind Wharton and Garrison in New York focused on global mergers and acquisitions. He serves on the Cabinet Board of Markham Stouffville Hospital and Wesley Academy Day School. He served as an Independent Director of Inter Citic Minerals Inc. since March 2003 until May 29, 2008. He served as a Member of Advisory Board at Largo Resources Ltd. since April 2008. Prior board affiliations include the March of Dimes; the Institute of International Education (which administers the Fulbright Scholarship Program and the Scholar Rescue Fund); and, NYU Downtown Hospital. Mr. Dorey is qualified as an Attorney in New York and as a Barrister and solicitor in Alberta. He graduated with a Law degree from King's College London.
