Biography

Mr. Michael Jones serves as Board Member at RealDefense. He serves as Managing Director at Corbel Capital Partners. Mr. Jones serves as Board Member at Tennyson Electric. Prior to Corbel, he spent five years as an M&A investment banker at Morgan Stanley, first as an Associate in New York and later as a Vice President in Los Angeles. Prior to Morgan Stanley, he worked in the Executive Office of Secretary-General Kofi Annan at United Nations headquarters in New York, first as a John Gardner Fellow and later as Special Advisor for Counter Terrorism. While at the United Nations, he helped author the first Global Counter-Terrorism Strategy, which was adopted unanimously by all 192 Member States of the General Assembly in 2006. He earned his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, where he served as President of the Finance Club, and his B.A. in Economics with Highest Honors from the University of California at Berkeley, where he graduated summa cum laude, a Regents' Scholar, a California Leadership Fellow, and Phi Beta Kappa.
