Daniel Kragt General Information
Biography
Mr. Daniel Kragt served as Managing Director & Controller at Hunter Street Partners. He served as Director of Operations at Castlelake. He joined Castlelake in 2008 and had responsibility for the Fund Accounting group. In January 2010 he moved to the Operations/Investment Coordinator group where his role encompassed the management of transaction settlement, cash and collateral, margin, and capacity. He also continued the ongoing effort to enhance operational systems to improve controls, workflow, and data integrity. Prior to joining Castlelake, Mr. Kragt was the controller at EBF & Associates LP ("EBF"). At EBF, Mr. Kragt led all of the accounting functions including fund accounting, financial reporting, and management company reporting. Additional responsibilities included audit coordination, investor communication, investor tax coordination, cash approval, and accounts payable functions. Mr. Kragt was also involved in the setup, coordination, and due diligence on several private/structured transactions. Prior to joining EBF, he worked at ING (formerly ReliaStar) in many financial/accounting roles including internal audit, financial reporting, cost and budgeting, and financial modeling. Mr. Kragt is a CPA (inactive) and received a B.S. from Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri, in Accounting.
