Biography

Mr. Jason Gabriel serves as Managing Director at Syngenta Ventures. He served as Managing Director at Third Security. He works with portfolio companies of Third Security's managed investment funds, focusing on the areas of financial budgeting and decision analysis, and previously served on the Board of Directors of Keraderm Corporation from October 2009 until December 2011. Prior to joining Third Security, Mr. Gabriel spent almost three years in Corporate Development, Business Development and Strategic Development positions for Cavalier Telephone and Circuit City Stores, in Richmond, Virginia. Previously, he was an Associate at SKM Growth Investors, L.P., a lower-middle market private equity fund in Dallas, Texas. Mr. Gabriel began his career as an investment banking analyst with Jefferies & Company and RBC Dominion Securities in Houston, Texas. Mr. Gabriel is a summa cum laude graduate of Millsaps College, in Jackson, Mississippi, and received an M.B.A. from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia.
