Biography

Mr. Steven Sherwood is the Founding Partner and serves as Chairman at CWS Capital Partners. He serves as a Board Member at Ecovative Design. He is the Founder and Founding Partner of the CWS Apartment Homes. He is a Co-Founder and serves as Chief Executive Officer and Partner at CWS. He co-founded CWS in 1977 and is focused on providing high-level strategies to maximize risk-adjusted investor returns, reviews of all potential acquisitions and dispositions, expanding capital relationships, as well as being involved in several philanthropic efforts outside of the company. Steve has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Texas Tech University. He is Chairman of the Global Board of Directors for The Hunger Project, an organization whose sole mission is to end chronic hunger in the world. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Texas Tech Foundation and is an active member of the World President's Organization and CEO Organization.
