Biography

Mr. Charles Roth served as a Vice President, Business Development at Varick Media Management. He is a senior media executive with 15+ years of experience and a successful sales track record across traditional and digital advertising. Prior to becoming VP of Business Development at Varick, Charlie was the GSM for WKBD TV and for NCC Cable & Fox Sports Net. He kicked off his digital advertising career at startup JumpTv, selling 175 official athletic websites for colleges, universities and conferences. He then went on to work at ad network Tribal Fusion, where he secured the company's largest I.O. ever at $1.1 MM. While at Tribal Fusion, Charlie received the company's 2012 New Business Award. After his work at Tribal Fusion, Charlie held the position of Senior Director of Sales at Simpli.fi. He is a graduate of Quinnipiac University, where he was a member of the men's baseball team and President of the Marketing Club. Post-college he became President of the NY Alumni Chapter for Quinnipac (2004-2009). Born and raised in Huntington, Long Island, he currently lives in NYC's Hell's Kitchen. He is an avid golfer and spends his weekends at the Hamlet Golf & Country Club in Commack, NY where he has been a member since 2011.
