Biography

Ms. Amy Miller served as Managing Director & Head of Global Loan Syndications at Scotiabank Global Banking and Markets. She is responsible for leveraging Scotiabank's cross-border capabilities and coordinating our international Loan Syndication offices. She brings a wealth of related business experience to the position having worked in the financial industry for 25 years. She began her career in Chicago with Continental Illinois Bank in 1982 before joining Harris Bank & Trust as Co-Head of Asia Pacific Group - International Banking in 1985. She moved to TD Securities in 1988 and continued her career in progressively more senior roles in Loan Syndications, Private Placements, and High Yield. In 1991, she was appointed Managing Director - Global Head of Loan Syndications and Sales and Trading with TD Securities. She moved to Merrill Lynch in 2000 to assume the position of Managing Director and Co-Head - Loan Capital Markets in New York. She has a BA from Lewis and Clark College and an MA in International Business from Columbia University.
