Biography

Mr. Jeff Smith serves as Senior Managing Director at Equities First Holdings. In his role as senior managing director, Jeff is responsible for the development of sales, marketing and client acquisition functions at Equities First and its wholly owned subsidiaries. Jeff also oversees all underwriting activities within the organization and serves as a Chief Compliance Officer for the company. With more than 30 years of experience in the management of financial institutions, Jeff brings vast institutional knowledge to Equities First related to lending and accounting principles, and derivatives management. Prior to joining Equities First, Jeff held key executive leadership roles at Goldman Sachs, Lehman Brothers, JPMorgan Chase, Prudential, Salomon Brothers, and served as a Certified Public Accountant at Deloitte. Jeff earned his BS in accounting and MBA in finance at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
