Biography

Mr. Gregory Ruiz serves as Partner & Co-Lead of Private Equity/venture Capital at Jasper Ridge Partners. He co-leads the private equity/venture capital team, where he focuses on the firm's direct and co-investment activities, in addition to working on manager selection and secondary transactions. He served as Managing Investment Director, Private Equity at California Public Employees' Retirement System. Prior to ACP, he worked at Friedman, Fleischer & Lowe, a San Francisco-based private equity firm. At Friedman, Fleischer & Lowe, he focused on investments in the consumer, business services, and education sectors. He began his career as an analyst at Goldman Sachs. He received an M.B.A. with distinction as an Arjay Miller Scholar from Stanford Graduate School of Business and a B.A. in Public Policy from Princeton University.
