Biography

Mr. David Mehenny is a Co-Founder & serves as Executive Vice President & Principal at Privacore Capital. He served as Managing Director at The Blackstone Group. Since joining Blackstone, Mr. Mehenny has been involved in new business development and product development. Before joining Blackstone in 2010, Mr. Mehenny was a Director in Ivy Asset Management's Strategic Solutions and Development Group where he was involved in project management, transaction execution, and product development, as well as leading the group's capital markets activity from London. Prior to joining Ivy, Mr. Mehenny worked for OLEA Asset Management (a FX/FI Global Macro hedge fund), where he designed and developed their trade management and risk systems. From 2000 to 2001 Mr. Mehenny worked for the Cairo Financial Centre as Project Manager where he was responsible for commercial feasibility and financial modeling. Prior to that, Mr. Mehenny worked as Director of Business Development for Orascom Projects & Touristic Development, where he headed the group's strategic projects division. Before that, Mr. Mehenny managed field operations for Schlumberger Wireline Services in India as a field engineer. Mr. Mehenny graduated magna cum laude from the American University in Cairo with a B.Sc. in Physics, and received an M.B.A. from London Business School.
