Biography

Mr. Jack Melnikoff is a Co-Founder and president at Alera Partners. Mr. Melnikoff served as Managing Director at The Blackstone Group. Since joining Blackstone, Melnikoff has been involved in new business development and servicing existing client relationships. Before joining Blackstone, Mr. Melnikoff served as head of business development and a management committee member at Brownstone Investment Group, a fixed-income broker-dealer. Prior to this, Mr. Melnikoff worked at UBS AG as an Executive Director covering hedge funds for high-yield and distressed securities. Previously, Mr. Melnikoff worked at Barclays Capital covering hedge funds for leveraged loans, and also spent 10 years at Goldman Sachs in various institutional sales roles as well as head of fixed-income recruiting. Mr. Melnikoff began his career as an investment banking analyst at Merrill Lynch. Mr. Melnikoff received a BA in Economics from Duke University and an MBA with a Concentration in Finance from the Anderson School at the University of California Los Angeles.
