Biography

Mr. Matthew Sosland served as a Partner & Portfolio Manager at 3i Debt Management. He joined the Company in September 2012 following the completion of the strategic transaction with WCAS Fraser Sullivan, which established a 3i debt management platform in the US. Matthew joined WCAS Fraser Sullivan in 2005. Prior to joining WCAS Fraser Sullivan, Mr. Sosland was an Associate Director at Bear Stearns Asset Management. At Bear Stearns Asset Management, Mr. Sosland was a senior analyst in the High Yield Bond group, where he participated in managing hedge fund, mutual fund, institutional and CBO assets. He held primary responsibility for the Energy, Utilities, Industrials, Technology, Food and other sectors. Prior to that, Mr. Sosland was a Vice President at Nomura Corporate Research and Asset Management, where he was a senior analyst on a team that managed various high yield bond portfolios. Mr. Sosland is a CFA charter holder, a member of the CFA Institute, and a member of the New York Society of Securities Analysts. He holds a B.A. degree from Swarthmore College.
