C.B. Richardson JD General Information

Biography

Mr. C.B. Richardson served as Managing Director at The Blackstone Group. He is the Chief Compliance Officer of Blackstone Advisory Partners and Park Hill. He is also responsible for many of the firm-wide compliance matters. Prior to joining Blackstone in 2013, Mr. Richardson was Head of Investment Banking, Syndicate and Corporate Compliance, Americas at Barclays. He was also the Head of Compliance, Brazil, Canada and Mexico and the US Institutional Broker-Dealer Office Compliance Manager for Barclays. Prior to that, he was a Senior Vice President providing compliance coverage to the global capital markets and investment banking groups at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Before that, he was Assistant General Counsel, Securities and Corporate Governance at SPX Corporation. Before SPX, Mr. Richardson was a corporate associate at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson. Mr. Richardson began his career as a captain in the JAG Corps in the US Army serving with the Third Infantry Division, Mechanized. Mr. Richardson received a BA, cum laude, in Public Policy from Duke University, and a JD from New York University. He serves on the Duke University Chapel Advisory Board.
