Biography

Mr. Craig Schortzmann serves as Managing Director at PJT Partners. He is a Co-Founder and a Co-Owner and serves as Managing Partner at Stonyrock Partners. Before joining Blackstone, he was a Principal at Asset Management Finance LLC ("AMF"), a division of Credit Suisse, which focused on making principal investments in alternative and traditional asset management firms. While at AMF, he focused on new investment origination, structuring and underwriting and transaction execution. Before joining AMF, he was an Associate within the Investment Management division of Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. As a member of the Portfolio Analyst program, he implemented investment strategies, conducted company, sector and industry research and performed portfolio and security risk analyses for the firm's portfolio management team. He received his Bachelor of Arts in American History from Wesleyan University. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and membership in the CFA Institute.
