Biography

Mr. Matthew Skurbe serves as Senior Managing Director, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Skurbe serves as Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operating Officer and Senior Managing Director at CC Capital. He also served as Chief Financial Officer at CC Neuberger Principal Holdings II and CC Neuberger Principal Holdings III. He also served as Chief Financial Officer at CC Neuberger Principal. He served as Treasurer and Managing Director, Finance at The Blackstone Group. He is involved in all Blackstone Treasury-related activities, including cash and liquidity management, working capital management, bank and rating agency relationship management, and balance sheet risk management. Before joining Blackstone in 2009, Mr. Skurbe spent 10 years with Merrill Lynch, most recently serving as the CFO for Merrill Lynch Bank & Trust Co., FSB, a $35 billion thrift housing several of Merrill Lynch's consumer lending and banking businesses. Prior to that role, Mr. Skurbe spent seven years supporting Merrill Lynch Treasury in various middle and back-office support functions including roles as Merrill Lynch's foreign exchange Controller and Director of the Treasury Finance function. Prior to joining Merrill Lynch, Mr. Skurbe had previous roles with Amerada Hess Corporation and Arthur Andersen LLP. Mr. Skurbe received a BS in Accounting from Rutgers University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
