David Vlack General Information
Biography
Mr. David Vlack served as Managing Director & Director, Finance and Administration at The Blackstone Group. Since joining Blackstone in 1995, Mr. Van Vlack has been involved with all facets of the administration of the firm's side-by-side investment program. His responsibilities have included the calculation of investment and income amounts at the fund level and the individual investor level and the handling of financing issues for individual investors, including the placement of financing, loan repayment and the analysis of financing costs. Mr. Van Vlack has helped to lead the development and implementation of enhanced computer systems and financial models to administer the side-by-side program. He has also been involved in various strategic planning projects for the firm. Before joining Blackstone, Mr. Van Vlack was an Investment Manager at Fosterlane Management Corporation, where he was involved in performing financial analysis relating to the firm's existing investments as well as potential investments. Mr. Van Vlack received a BA in History from Fordham University and an MBA in Finance from Pace University.
