Biography

Mr. Joseph Tanious serves as Managing Director, Head of Portfolio Strategy and Construction and Member of the Investment Policy and Strategy Committee at Bessemer Trust. Prior to joining Bessemer, Mr. Tanious was a global market strategist at J.P. Morgan Asset Management. Before that, he worked at Wells Fargo Asset Management as Regional Director, responsible for Institutional Sales. He earned an M.B.A. in finance and economics from Columbia Business School, where he was awarded the Robert A. Toigo Foundation Fellowship, and a B.A. in economics from the University of California, Irvine. He is a CFA® charterholder.
