Biography

Mr. Damon Cronkey served as Board Member at Narrative. He served as Partner at XSeed Capital. He served as Board Member at FINDMINE. He also served as a Board Member at Esports One. He served as Board Member at Apptentive. A strategic advisor to global companies, he is interested in identifying opportunities for technology to create long-term value in new markets. With more than a decade of experience executing corporate development transactions ranging from early-stage investments to multi-billion dollar acquisitions, as well as directly managing high-growth operating units, he works to help entrepreneurs build successful businesses that overcome the challenges of the market, geographic, and platform risk. He is currently focused on learning more about how data will facilitate engagement with applications and services to enhance behaviors both inside and outside of the workplace. He advises and serves on the board of directors of several technology companies as well as the development advisory board of Think College Now, a public school in Oakland, CA. Prior to joining XSeed, he was Senior Vice President at Silicon Valley's highly regarded firm SurveyMonkey, overseeing strategy, corporate development, and a number of business units. Before SurveyMonkey, he spent several years at Yahoo!, where he held a variety of senior roles in multiple operating units. He began his career in corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions at Deutsche Bank Securities. He holds a BS in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He served as Senior Vice President, Corporate Development and Strategy at SurveyMonkey. He is an Angel Investor.
