Biography

Ms. Nancy Dempze serves as Managing Director at Hemenway Trust Company. Mr. Dempze serves as a Partner at Hemenway & Barnes. She serves as a professional trustee, executor, and estate planner for individuals and families. She helps clients develop and implement tax-efficient, wealth-transfer strategies for a variety of complex assets in ways that are consistent with the client's overall goals and values. She is the Trustee of the Boston Museum of Science and chair of the Planned Giving Committee and Washburn Society. Member of Finance and Advancement Committee. She is the Trustee of Old Sturbridge Village and past Chair, Investment Committee Chair, Board of Trustees, Manomet (formerly Manomet Center for Conservation Sciences); Member, Investment, Development and Executive Committees. She is the Past President and current Vice President of Westwood Land Trust. She has done JD from the Boston University School of Law and a BS from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
