Biography

Mr. David Hopkins was the Owner and served as a Managing Director at Obrar. Prior to working within the consultancy industry David has been employed in a number of permanent roles at BP International, JP Morgan, Diageo, Connect Communications, Vodafone and British Rail Telecommunications at senior management and director levels. David's market sector background includes engineering, media and entertainment, telecommunications (fixed, mobile and convergence), financial services, petro-chemical and drinks. David has worked directly with a number of clients on Obrar's past and present client list and in the majority of cases operates at the highest level and working across organisational disciplines. David's skills extend from launch strategies, IT and customer service operational implementation, outsourcing and organisational re-engineering, programme and project management through to service and technology designs, vendor selection, RFP/RFI/ITT process management and systems integration and all the elements of the total customer experience and service strategy through to operational management. Over the past 8 years David has worked and has considerable experience in the design and set-up of a number of off-shore contact centre's and back office development capabilities in India , Philippines , Eastern Europe and South Africa covering the service operation, technology, and business processes. During his career, David has worked and consulted for a number of organizations with major branding recognition, some of which include T-Mobile, Orange , Vodafone, O2 GmbH, Virgin Mobile, Du Telecom, RR Donnelley, Thetrainline.com, Barclays, Yota, Macquarie, Hawksford International, Santander , Talk Talk, Firstsource, Vertex, Sitel.
