Biography

Mr. Joseph Robinson served as President at iHeartMedia Ventures. He is the Co-Founder and serves as a Senior Managing Partner at Halo Venture Partners. He also serves as Board Member at Song Clip. He was a Director at IWin. He founded Halo Venture Partners in 2003 as a private venture investment company focused primarily on digital media, advertising, and media-related technology companies. He served as Board Member at Unified and ASmallWorld. His successes include founding investments in both Scout Media, a sports media network that was sold to Fox in 2005 for $56 million, and UGO Networks, a male-targeted advertising network that was sold to Hearst in 2007 for $80 million. In 1994, he co-founded the InterWorld Corporation, an e-commerce application developer and solutions provider that went public in 1998 and ultimately, reached a market cap of $2 billion. Further highlighting his media and venture experience also he serves as President of iHeartMedia Ventures for iHeart Media, working to develop high-value strategic opportunities with media, technology, and content companies. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Skidmore College. He has over 20 years of investment and management experience in both public and venture-backed companies. Some of his achievements include founding InterWorld Corp. which went public in 2001 and starting Halo Venture Partners, a private angel venture fund.
