Jack Weingart General Information
Biography
Mr. Jack Weingart serves as Chief Financial Officer, Member of the Executive Committee, and Board Member at TPG. He also serves as Chief Executive Officer at TPG Capital BD. Previously, Mr. Weingart served as Managing Partner of the Funding Group, which comprised the firm's fundraising and capital markets activities, and most recently, as Co-Managing Partner of TPG Capital. Before joining TPG in 2006, Mr. Weingart was a Managing Director at Goldman, Sachs & Co., responsible for managing the firm's west coast leveraged finance and financial sponsor businesses. Before Goldman Sachs, he was a Managing Director with Banc of America Securities LLC, leading the firm's West Coast financial sponsor business. From 1988 to 2003, Mr. Weingart worked at Merrill Lynch & Co. in a variety of leadership positions within investment banking and debt capital markets. Mr. Weingart earned a B.S. in electrical engineering and computer sciences from the University of California at Berkeley and has served on the Boards of Chobani and the Awaso Hope Foundation.
