Biography

Mr. Peter Brooks is a Co-Founder and serves as Managing Director at Sagamore Investments. Mr. Brooks was formerly a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs and Co-Head of the firm's Asia Asset Management Group based in Singapore and Hong Kong and prior to that was with the Chase Manhattan Bank, first in New York where he specialized in Credit and Risk Management and then in Hong Kong where he managed their Financial Institutions business. He also served as Board Member at Grassland Finance. He worked in New York (7 years), Hong Kong (13 years) and Singapore (4 years), before moving to San Francisco (6 years) in 2006. He was a founding investor in and Board Member of Reata Pharmaceuticals in 2002 (Dallas, TX), Presidio Pharmaceuticals in 2006 (San Francisco, CA) and ASLAN Pharmaceuticals in 2010 (Singapore). He graduated with a BA in Economics from Yale University and subsequently obtained his MBA from Columbia University.
