Biography

Mr. Daniel Franklin serves as Principal at Staple Street Capital. He is focused on optimizing and improving portfolio company operations to create value. Prior to joining Staple Street Capital, He was an Associate at Blackstreet Capital Management where his primary responsibilities included the evaluation, execution and monitoring of complex and special situation transactions across a variety of industries including food & beverage, manufacturing, and business services. Prior to Blackstreet, he worked as a Senior Analyst for American International Group ("AIG") in their Financial Services and Investments - Business Strategy group. While at AIG, he was involved with a variety of transactions within the group, including restructurings. He started his career as an Investment Banking Analyst at Credit Suisse. He received his B.A. from Georgetown University.
