Biography

Dr. Vasudev Bailey served as Managing Partner at ARTIS Ventures. He serves as a Board Observer at Crediwatch. He also serves as a Board Member at Aether, Outpace Bio, and Unnatural Products. He currently sits on the Board of Directors for Eko Health, and Excision BioTherapeutics. He served as a Board Observer at IDbyDNA and TAE Life Sciences. Before Artis, he helped found enterprise sales and the healthcare business for Quid, worked at McKinsey & Co., and co-founded several startups. He also co-founded and served as the General Manager of the GLG Institute to build a forum to connect retired C-suite executives with exceptional aspiring leaders. He also sits on the Advisory Board for the Biomedical Engineering Department at Johns Hopkins. In addition, he sits on the Association for Women in Science (AWIS) Board where he advocates for female representation in STEM/ entrepreneurship. He holds four provisional patents in nanotechnology and has over thirty conference and journal publications. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of California Irvine and received a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine where he was both a Siebel and Medtronic Scholar.
