Biography

Mr. Matthew Kinsella serves as Chief Executive Officer & Board Member at Infleqtion. He served as the Managing Director at Maverick Ventures. He serves as a Board Member at Cylera. He served as a Board Member at 1mg. He was a Board Member of BlueTalon. He joined Maverick in 2005 and was responsible for the public software investment effort from 2008 to 2014, with a particular focus on software-as-a-service. Over that time period, he collaborated with the private investment team and in 2014 he began focusing full-time on Maverick's private investment efforts. He currently serves on the boards of private companies in the fields of SAAS and mobile commerce. He is the Chairman of the Maverick Capital Foundation and a Board Member of Aptible, and ColdQuanta. He serves as a Board Member at BioCatch. Before joining Infleqtion, he was Managing Director at Maverick Ventures, a venture capital fund focused on early and growth-stage investments. During his tenure, which spanned nearly two decades, he played a pivotal role in identifying and nurturing promising startups across various sectors, including SaaS, cybersecurity, healthcare, and deep technology. He also serves as the Chairman of the Maverick Capital Foundation San Francisco and holds positions on the boards of OneGoal and the San Francisco General Hospital Foundation. Under his leadership, Infleqtion has emerged as a trailblazer in commercializing quantum hardware and software solutions, focusing on quantum sensing, communication, and computing. His strategic guidance has propelled the company to achieve significant milestones, including securing strategic partnerships, expanding into new markets, and advancing critical technology programs.
