Biography

Mr. James Zallie serves as President, Chief Executive Officer and Director at Ingredion. Previously, he served as executive vice president, of global specialties and president, the Americas. He joined Ingredion in 2010 with the acquisition of National Starch, a company where he had worked for more than 27 years in various positions of increasing responsibility, first in technical, then in marketing and international business management, and finally as President and CEO. He holds master's degrees in food science and business administration from Rutgers University and a Bachelor of Science degree in food science from Pennsylvania State University.
