Biography

Mr. Brian Yip served as Analyst at Darby Overseas Investments. He joined Darby as an Analyst in the Asia team based in Hong Kong in 2012. Prior to officially joining Darby, Brian also worked with the Darby team in Hong Kong for one year, primarily providing research and financial analysis of investment opportunities, as part of the Franklin Templeton Futures Associate Program. During the program, he also gained experience in areas of equity trading, institutional sales and client service with Franklin Templeton. Prior to Franklin Templeton, Brian worked at Sal. Oppenheim (Hong Kong), a private equity fund-of-funds platform of the German private bank, where he was responsible for screening, analysis, due diligence and monitoring of the portfolio's underlying Asia primary fund investments. Brian graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a BBA in Finance and an International Business Certificate. He is fluent in Mandarin, English and Cantonese.
