Biography

Mr. John Franklin serves as Managing Partner, Distribution at Mercury Capital Advisors. His responsibilities include oversight and development of the firm's global distribution capabilities and management of the distribution team. Prior to this, he served as a Managing Director at Investcorp, a global manager of alternative investments with 38 years of track record and $32 billion of assets under management. His 24-year tenure at Investcorp included roles such as Head of Institutional Sales in North America, Chief Operating Officer of Absolute Return Investments, and Head of Asset Allocation. He received a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the National Institute of Technology, Karnataka, India, and an MBA in Finance and Systems from Xavier School of Management (XLRI), Jamshedpur, India. He is a CFA Charter holder, and a Series 24, 7, and 63 registered person with Mercury Capital Advisors, LLC, which is a member of FINRA and a securities broker-dealer in the United States.
