Biography

Mr. Mohamed serves as the CLO at Qatar National Broadband Network. He is accountable for legal affairs and compliance as Qnbn deploys its fiber optics network infrastructure. Mohamed is Secretary to Qnbn's Board of Directors and sits on both the management and tender committees. At Qnbn he provided extensive legal support during the formation of the corporate business plan and established the legal advisory function to support the commercial and regulatory aspects of the business. Under his leadership, his team manages the full range of legal functions in line with the applicable legal and regulatory regimes. Mohamed has more than 20 years of professional experience in the legal field from previous roles at the Attorney General's Chambers, Omantel and Etisalat where he helped to create the legal framework for the largest satellite communications organization in the Middle East. He was also a key member of the team responsible for the privatization of The Sultanate of Oman's Telecom Sector. Specializing in Telecom, Corporate, Commercial and International law, he holds Masters degrees from the United States and Canada with a Bachelor's degree from the University of Khartoum.
