Biography

Ms. Debbie Kephart served as a Vice President, General Manager of Technology & Managing Director at Sage Growth Partners. She is experienced in executive health care management, as well as clinical operations from conception to completion, her excellent reputation as an intuitive organizer and leader allows her to consistently achieve stellar results in challenging environments. She has deep experience in clinical operations management (ambulatory and acute), health information technology (HIT) deployment, HIT project management, fiscal management and capital acquisitions. Known for strong interpersonal and collaborative management style, Ms. Kephart is a valuable leader and motivator. In her role at General Manager of our Technology Practice, Ms. Kephart is instrumental in advising clients and leading electronic medical record and practice management systems implementations. Prior to her role at Sage Growth Partners, Ms. Kephart served as Senior Consultant and Senior Implementations Specialist/Project Manager to Maryland's designated Regional Extension Center; Senior Consultant InPhase Consulting Group; Senior Vice President of Operations Harbor Hospital and Vice President of Clinical Services Good Samaritan Hospital, both members of the MedStar Health System. Ms. Kephart currently serves on several boards in the Maryland area. She is a member of both at the Maryland Nurses Association and the Maryland Hospital Association. Ms. Kephart is also an active member of HIMSS, both the national and state level, and a member of the Executive Board for The Shepherds Clinic of Baltimore. Ms. Kephart, a registered nurse, received her Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and her Master in Business Administration from the University of Baltimore. Prior to her role at Sage Growth Partners, Ms. Kephart served as Senior Consultant and Senior Implementations Specialist/Project Manager to Maryland's designated Regional Extension Center; Senior Consultant InPhase Consulting Group; Senior Vice President of Operations, COO Harbor Hospital and Vice President of Clinical Services Good Samaritan Hospital, both members of the MedStar Health System. She received a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Baltimore and an Associate's Degree in Nursing.
