Biography

Ms. Pascale Thomas serves as Chief Compliance Officer, Vice President & Deputy General Counsel at Ariel Alternatives. In her roles, Ms. Thomas helps manage the legal, compliance and risk functions for all Ariel entities and leads the compliance program of Ariel Alternatives. Before joining Ariel, she served in other in-house roles. Most recently, she served as the deputy general counsel and deputy chief compliance officer of Makena Capital Management. She began her career as an attorney in Sidley Austin's Investment Products & Derivatives Group. Beyond Ariel, she is a member of the Contemporary Support Council of the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco and an active supporter of Duke University's Nasher Museum of Art. She graduated with a BS in psychology from Duke University and a JD from Harvard Law School.
