Biography

Mr. Stephen Wrobel is the Founder and serves as Managing Partner at Wrobel Capital. He serves as Managing Director at Hilco Corporate Finance. He served as Managing Director at Balmoral Advisors. He served as Director of Business Development at FocalPoint Partners. Prior to joining FocalPoint, Wrobel worked for Z Capital Partners, a special situation private equity firm, in addition to several commercial lenders including the Royal Bank of Scotland and Fifth Third Bank. He brings more than two decades of experience in private equity, leveraged finance, special situations, debt restructuring, and commercial banking. During his career, Wrobel has worked with middle-market companies across a wide range of industries including consumer products, aerospace, transportation, media and technology, and healthcare. Wrobel holds a B.S. in Economics from Northern Illinois University and an M.B.A. from the Keller School of Management. Focusing on providing Debt Capital Markets and M&A advisory services for Hilco Corporate Finance, Stephen brings sophistication and creative solutions to his clients, creating a path to an optimal outcome. Prior to joining Hilco Corporate Finance, Stephen worked for Balmoral Advisors and FocalPoint Partners, investment banking firms, Z Capital Partners, a special situations private equity/leveraged lending firm, and several commercial lenders including Royal Bank of Scotland, Fifth Third Bank, Associated Bank and Inland Bank.
