Sean Tucker General Information

Biography

Mr. Sean Tucker founded and served as Managing Member at Galleon Ventures. In April 2005, he founded United Cycling, LLC. By December 2005, Mr. Tucker had signed 15 of the top domestic pros and signed a $10 million, three-year partnership with Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., Inc., to create the Toyota-United Pro Cycling Team. The squad was cited by VeloNews magazine as "the ultimate fantasy team." During their tenure (2006-2008), the team won a total of 171 races, had 376 podium finishes and won 39% of the races they entered. In addition, the team generated over $50 million dollars of measurable media value for its title sponsor Toyota. The team also generated thousands of news articles, some of which were in major media publications and TV stations such as USA Today, NY Times, LA Times, Sports Illustrated, Forbes, CNN and Wide World of Sports. In 2000, Mr. Tucker founded and still remains President of 2iron Consulting, Inc. His client list has included Konica Minolta Graphic Imaging U.S.A., Inc., Abbott Laboratories and Egghead.com. His background includes an executive position as Vice President of Sales at Experts Exchange, Inc., where, as part of the senior management team, he helped secure $5.65 million in first round funding from J.P. Morgan Capital in 1999. Additionally, he had a distinguished client base of Fortune 500 companies such as HP, Dell, and Citibank.
