Biography

Mr. David Burke serves as Managing Director at AuSable Capital Partners. Mr. David Burke served as Senior Managing Director at GlassRatner Advisory & Capital Group. He has spent over 20 years as an investment banker and financial advisor to public and private companies. Prior to joining GlassRatner in 2013 as a Senior Managing Director, Mr. Burke was a Managing Director at D.A. Davidson & Co. and McGladrey Capital Markets, LLC, where he specialized in mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, recapitalizations, capital raising, restructurings and fairness opinions. Throughout his career, Mr. Burke has originated, led and executed over 40 M&A and capital raise transactions in a variety of industries, including construction, engineering and architecture, building materials, energy, industrial manufacturing, consumer products, business services, and distribution. He has originated and closed 12 cross-border transactions, and completed buy-side assignments for several large European public companies. He has worked on hundreds of valuation and fairness opinion assignments, and generated over $1.4 billion in liquidity for his clients through successful transactions. Mr. Burke was head of McGladrey's Global Infrastructure and Energy Practices and also co-managed the firm's Restructuring Group. He was awarded the firm's dealmaker of the year designation in 2001, 2002, 2007 and 2011. Mr. Burke also spent several years in the consulting practice of a nationally recognized turnaround and advisory service firm where he provided litigation support services, financial statement analysis and due diligence support on several high profile transactions. Mr. Burke holds a master's degree in business administration with an emphasis in finance from Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles and a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of California, Riverside. He holds FINRA Series 7, 24 and 63 securities licenses.
