Biography

Mr. Nicola Falcinelli serves as Managing Director & Deputy Head of European Private Credit at The Carlyle Group. He serves as Board Member at Prima Assicurazioni. He served as Managing Director & European Private Credit Analyst at Sculptor Capital Management. In this role, he focuses on private credit investments including private debt and special situations within the EMEA region. Since joining the Firm in 2007, he has helped grow Oz Management's private credit business, leading several transactions in Europe from origination through due diligence, structuring and negotiation to closing and final exit. Prior to joining Oz Management, he was an Associate in the Investment Banking Division at JPMorgan Chase Bank. During his time at JPMorgan Chase Bank, he worked as a member of the Mergers & Acquisitions group in London and Milan and also as a member of the Leveraged Finance group in London. He graduated with honors and holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi. In his studies, he attended the exchange program of the M.B.A in Corporate Finance at Indiana University - Kelley School of Business. He also serves as a Managing Director at The Carlyle Group.
