Biography

Mr. Hans Magnus Andresen serves as Managing Director at The Quantum Group. He also served as Managing Director at Leichtmet Aluminium Giesserei Hannover. Mr. Andresen served as Managing Director at BAVARIA Industries Group. He also serves as Managing Director at Quantum Capital Partners. Combining more than 20 years of top management experience and more than 10 years of experience as a Managing Director within restructuring funds, Mr. Magnus is one of the most tenured and successful investment professionals in this sector. He has gathered several years of experience as both investor and operational manager of portfolio companies of a publicly listed industrial holding. He has led several transactions in the areas of aluminum and automotive industries, as well as pharmaceutical and paper production. Previously, Mr. Magnus held several positions as a Managing Director and COO. In this role as sole Managing Director, he was among other things responsible for the restructuring and growth of the European and Asian operations. He began his management career with Mercedes-Benz in Norway, continued as Marketing Director and finally worked as a Managing Director. Mr. Magnus studied business administration in Norway and holds an MBA from IE Business School, Madrid.
