Simon Smith General Information

Biography

Mr. Simon Smith serves as Chief Financial Officer & Board Member at MGM Advantage Life. He is responsible for Retirement Advantage's finance and actuarial functions. He joined the Group in 2013 having worked with TDR Capital on its acquisition of the business from Marine and General, becoming an Executive Director of the new companies in November 2013. Prior to joining Retirement Advantage he had led a worldwide group restructuring project at Aviva plc. Simon also served as Chief Financial Officer of FTSE-listed Phoenix Group Holdings Plc until June 2010, and prior to that was Group Finance Director of Pearl Group Limited. He has over 20 years' experience in the fund management and life insurance sectors, having previously worked at Robert Fleming and Henderson Global Investors. He is a Chartered Accountant.
