Biography

Mr. Leif Andersson is a Founding Partner & serves as Chairman of the Investment Committee & Board Member at Infranode. He is one of the founders of Infranode and is, among other things, a member of Infranode's investment committee. He has almost 30 years of experience in the real estate and finance sector. He worked for nearly 10 years at the AP funds' real estate company AP Fastigheter as head of investments and left the company in 2002 to start Areim, where he is now a working board member his career began at the listed company Paul Anderson Industrier in Västerås, where he worked as an analyst and controller. In 1994, he started at the Swedish AP funds' (1-3) real estate company, where after a short time he became investment manager, a position he held until 2002. In 2003, he founded Areim, as the Nordic operating partner for Blackstone Group's real estate operations. In 2005, Areim also started a collaboration with ING (today CBRE GI) to help them build up their Nordic real estate business. He was also one of three founders of JARL AM, the developer behind Stockholm Waterfront. In 2007, Areim started its first real estate fund, with commitments worth SEK 2.1 billion from ATP, APG, and GIC. In 2012, the subsequent fund Areim II was started, with capital commitments totaling approximately SEK 3 billion from, among others, APG, GIC, AP4, and Allianz. Areim currently manages four funds with total capital commitments of approximately SEK 18 billion. In 2002, he was one of the initiators of the European industry organization INREV (European Association for Investors in Non-Listed Real Estate Vehicles), where he then sat on the board for eight years. Since 2004, he has been a board member of CA Fastigheter AB, a regional real estate group, where he sits on the external board. He has a civil engineering degree with a focus on construction and real estate economics from KTH and an EMBA from the Stockholm School of Economics.
