Biography

Mr. John Grzybek serves as Director of the Family Office at Greenleaf Trust. He was a Founding Member & served as Senior Relationship Manager at Mirador Family Wealth Advisors. He is responsible for many of the sophisticated wealth management and consulting services that are provided to Mirador clients. He is one of the top advisors in the United States who works with clients with a single stock concentration. He has 20 years of experience as an attorney in the areas of estate planning and administration of closely held business entities. Central to this work has been the initiation of complex partnerships and other wealth transfer vehicles to successfully transfer wealth and manage the unique risks associated with single stock concentration. Before joining Mirador, he was director of the nationally recognized Innovative Wealth Solutions Group at Fifth Third Private Bank, focusing on comprehensive family wealth management, with an emphasis on valuation discount planning, strategic charitable income tax planning, and innovative tax solutions integrating partnership income tax planning and derivative taxation planning to clients across the country. He speaks nationally on such topics as complex partnership planning and single-stock concentration planning. He holds a JD (Doctor of Law) from the University of Detroit & BA (Bachelor of Arts) from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
