Biography
Ms. Baroness Buscombe served as Independent Non-Executive Director at Affinity Water. Baroness Peta Buscombe was appointed to the Board in 2007. She is a barrister, an active member of the House of Lords and has held a number of shadow ministerial positions including responsibility for industry and enterprise, regulatory reform, the media and education. Formerly Chairman of the Press Complaints Commission, she is a non-executive Director of Local World Limited, a member of the Human Rights Joint Committee, served on the Inquiries Act 2005 Committee and is Chairman of the Advisory Board for the Samaritans.
