Biography

Mr. Ralph Rodriguez is the Founder and serves as Chief Innovation Officer, Chief Executive Officer, and Board Member at Delfigo Security. He is the Founder and served as a Research Fellow and Chief Executive Officer at Blue Hill Research. He served as Executive-in-Residence at Summit Partners. He served as a Board Member at Corvium and at Strategic Cyber Ventures. He serves as an Advisor at Stage 1 Ventures. He is the Founder and serves as Chief Innovation Officer and Chief Executive Officer at Delfigo Security. He brings over 25 years of experience spanning management, IT, research, and entrepreneurship in a variety of executive roles. In addition to his role at Blue Hill Research, he serves as the Chairman and Founder of Blue Hill Research's parent company New Technologies and Associates, Inc. He has also served as COO of Nucleus Research, Inc. and previously as SVP and Research Director of the Technology Practice at Aberdeen Group (NYSE: HHS). Prior executive roles include CTO of Brooks Automation's Enterprise Software Division (NASDAQ: BRKS), which was acquired by Applied Materials in 2007, EVP-CIO of Excelon Corporation (NASDAQ: EXLN), and C-bridge Internet Solutions (NASDAQ: CBIS). He is currently a Fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) where he has pioneered research on artificial intelligence (AI), cloud, mobile, neural science, and security technologies at the MIT Media Lab and Harvard-MIT Health Sciences and Technology (HST) department and holds an Sc.D. in information systems. He is a graduate of the management program GPMD-MBA at IESE Business School, Barcelona, Spain. He also completed several programs in technology management and research at MIT's Sloan School of Management. He has a BS in Computer Science and Technology from the US Army Institute (SOCAD) and is an honors graduate of several technical, operational, and communications schools in the United States Army, where he was a member of the XVIII Airborne Corps. He is a veteran of the Persian Gulf War in 1990. He sits on the Board of Directors at the Academy of Applied Science and previously served on the Board of Veramark Technologies, Inc. (OTC: VERA). He serves as an Advisory Board Member at Strategic Cyber Ventures.
